Robert Oppenheimer

Robert Oppenheimer was the director of the Los Alamos Laboratory during the Manhattan Project and was responsible for the research and design of an atomic bomb. He is often known as the “father of the atomic bomb.” In this rare interview, Oppenheimer reveals before he was on the Project, it was in “bad order” and there was a long period of indecision about who should head it.
