Mary Lowe Michel

Mary Michel worked at Oak Ridge during the Manhattan Project and withdrew samples of uranium from large furnaces so that they could be analyzed in the laboratory. In her interview, Lowe describes some of the relaxed safety procedures and how they later affected her health.
